Quilting Services

All quilting is performed on a state-of-the-art APQS Millennium long-arm quilting machine.  The machine is equipped with a stitch regulator which will maintain even-length stitches throughout your quilt.  Prices vary depending on the size of the quilt, the number and type of quilt patterns utilized, and the time it takes to complete the quilt.  There are a number of different designs to choose from.  I can help you pick those which will complement your quilt.

Services

Edge to Edge Quilting - includes pantograph ("all-over" pattern), Baptist fans, clam shells, and simple freeform designs.  One pattern, or design, is used over the entire quilt.  The price for all-over quilting ranges from .014 to .018 per square inch depending on the complexity and density of the pattern used.

Custom Quilting - encompasses everything else.  Prices begin at .025 per square inch.  Outlining, stitch-in-the-ditch, trapunto, and the use of multiple patterns are considered custom.

Other Services

Basting - If you are a hand-quilter and would like to have your quilt machine basted, the price is .005 per square inch.

Binding - If you would like me to bind your quilt before returning it to you, you will need to include enough fabric for the binding.  The price to attach binding is .10 per linear inch (front only).  Complete binding (machine stitch front and hand stitch back) is .20 per linear inch.

Embroidery - I can machine embroider a label for your quilt.  This can be done on a separate piece of fabric or directly on your quilt backing.  Price for embroidery is .001 per stitch or $1.00 per minute.

Backing and Batting - are available for purchase.  Please contact me for current prices.

Custom Made Quilts - In addition to making T-shirt quilts, I can custom make a quilt for you to keep for yourself or give as a gift.  Ideas include baby quilts, memory quilts using your photos, or a quilt made from Dad's neckties.  All custom made quilts include a machine-embroidered "to/from" label.
